collect media is broken

[/img]So I make up a bank - setup all my layers and effects
add content
send to client

next day I dont want to redo alot of work so
I rename comp
keep all the effects and delete all clips from bank
rename bank
resave to new project - bank is cleared

Go to media manger to make sure if i collect all media there will be no overflow

Open media manger to collect
and all the clips i had in the previous bank are there ???

Like WHY? - there is nothing in the bank - why is it retaining all the stuff i had in there and regrabbing it

this will cause huge headaches in trying to send client stuff daily

Is there a way around this if you want ot keep all layer setups / and effect layers

So i figured out that even if you delete the seprate banks from a duplicated project it still retains them in the composition window ????? why - if i delete them from the project why keep them when i save the project with a new name - this is absurd

then you have to open each one and clear clips so they are empty

then resave

then media manger wont find all those files

Did you Close or Remove the decks?
With close, they will still exist in the composition, so the media is still referenced.
