Hi all, I'm writing on behalf of a venue I work for that uses Resolume as it's video brain. Back in March, when upgrading to 7.14, Resolume would nearly instantly crash upon loading our main composition. An empty composition would load and run fine, and I could add back in our peripherals/clips without finding any clues to what was actually causing the crash. The update was noticed on a night with an event so we just rolled back to 7.13.2 and hoped for a patch, but otherwise forgot about it. 7.15 rolled around and it was the same story, crash to desktop on a night with a performance so we just went back to 7.13 again. Venue tech says they sent a crash report back at the release of 7.14, then again at 7.15 with no emailed response, so I'm posting here.
I have finally had some time to troubleshoot and so I have been able to open the composition on my personal laptop without any issues in 7.15, but not actually test the peripherals (3x USB video inputs, 1x NDI stream input, 1x MIDI controller). I have experimented with adding the composition in deck by deck in 7.15, but even test decks with just a single JPG in them cause it to crash, same as before. As far as I am aware, there have been no driver updates installed since March on the troubled PC. Same USB video cards feeding in, same graphics card as the outputs. The only change is the updates.
The machine is Windows 10, 0.5TB NVME SSD, 2.9Ghz i5 CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, with an NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super video card. Not a monster by any means but it runs 1080 fine enough and is still rock solid on 7.13. No other crashes as far as I know.
I have just updated to 7.15 one more time to generate another crash report, I didn't find a way to save the report so I have sent it the usual way.
Thanks in advance!

Not every crash report gets a reply unfortunately. Especially if the email is not filled out.
Our replies can also land in the spam folder.
Can't find a report with your email either.
Pelase drop us a mail to mail@resolume.com with the addresses which might have been used, we can then do a search with that.
Thanks!
Windows event logs could have some entries with more info too, if it's a driver issue for example.

Thank you Zoltán.
This venue has previously had issues with outgoing mail being sent directly to spam, so after they sent a few with their address, I sent some from my personal email. Neither of which are the email tied to this forum account, which is my business email. Sorry to overcomplicate!
I have just sent an email describing the circumstances and linking to this thread, with the same subject line as this forum thread.
I have checked the Windows event logs and was not able to see anything that gave it away, but I'm just a sound tech trying to hang with the cool kid VJs and actually smart programmers
Thanks again for looking into it!
