Mac thumbnails DXV files
Was wondering how to get thumbnails for DXV files on a Mac? As a new Mac user I was able to change Alley to default media player but not able to have video thumbnail for QT DXV files. Thanks!
Re: Mac thumbnails DXV files
AFAIK you can't preview thumbnails of DXV on macs, it's a limitation set by the dev's of the OS. Macs love to lock you out of features or prevent standard operating procedures from being easily accessed by default. So you would need to ask Apple for this request.
In Windows there is a third party installer that will allow thumbnail previews, but this is too much of a "security risk" apparently for apple, so no previews in osx. (Unless if this has changed sometime in the last 2-3 years?)
