Faulty Key with Blackmagic Decklink 4k Mini

Version: only 7.9.0

Description:
Using the Blackmagic Decklink 4k Mini as an output device with 'Keyer' = 'External'

Expected behaviour:
Output of 'Key' channel on secondary SDI output

Observed behaviour:
secondary SDI output displays full white (= opaque) all the time

Tested systems:
MacBook Pro 2021 Apple M1 Max, macOS 12.1
Mac Mini 2020, Apple M1, macOS 11.4

Everything works fine with versions 7.8.0 and older.

If you preview your Composition, and set preview to show checkerboard, do you see the checkerboard background in the preview monitor, like this?

The checkerboard is visible where the image is transparent., that's where you should not see the White Key.

Could you please send us the Resolume log file via the feedback tab in preferences, and some screenshots of how things look for you in 7.8 and 7.9 with a simple composition?

Checkerboard shows up correctly in both versions


7.8.0 with correct key


7.9.0 with full white key

Of course I used the same composition and the same settings both times.

Quick Update: I recevied a Beta from the Resolume team which fixed the issue. It should be included in the next minor release. Until then I recommend using 7.8.0 if you need to use the external keyer.

I downloaded 7.0.8, it works great
