Ability to set a default/max number of layers and columns

Right now, I'm only using 5 columns per deck and putting clips in empty slots adds another column if a) I accidentally drop it between slots, or b) it's in the last column. Constantly having to clean up the visual clutter takes up a whole bunch of time first of all, and makes adding clips during a gig even more stressful.
