How does the Video Router work? It isn't working like I would have thought.
I have a layer of clips. If I insert a Video Router in a layer above it and use the lower layer as the input, the two look the same but the output is now much brighter. If I Colorize the Video Router, the correct colors are shown in the layer preview but the output is brighter and the colors are faded, as if the Router and the layer are combining output. If I insert a layer with a black video in between the two, I would have thought that would have blocked out the original layer but the output is still bright and the Colorize colors are still washed out.
What is it that I don't understand about the Video Router?

Re: Video Router
Hi, there is this little button in the button of the video router with input opacity, if that is highlighted, it uses the same opacity as the source layer, if that's not highlighted it just shows you the full opacity input from the input layer. And if you mix these two layers together, depending on your Blend mode, it can get extra bright if you for instants have Add as a blend mode. Try it with the cut blend mode then you only see one or the other. Hope this helps you

Re: Video Router
Early testing is that really helps a lot, thank you!
