Stop jumping to currently selected clip?

I'm using midi from a DAW to trigger stuff and is it possible to get it to STOP jumping over to the currently selected clip. It drives crazy, I'm editing colors and stuff and midi will trigger something and it jumps away while I'm editing. I get why it is useful for it to jump to the currently selected clip but it would be great if we can turn it off for editing. Is it possible?

Turn off the first 2 check boxes.
