locked content staying after relaunch

hey yall,
would be really useful to be able to be able to save a comp with some layers being locked into pieces of content. this way when I load my comp I dont need to select and re-lock layers that are only ever used for one source eg: camera overlay or video router. I looked into automating this via the REST API but as far as i can tell the Lock Content option is not exposed.
