Show Slices

I just updated from Avenue to Arena and started an advance output with several slices. When I go to add show slices in the view area, they aren't added to the browser area. on a Mac M1pro 14 in.. All other items like files, compositions and record add but not slices. Am I doing something wrong?

You cannot drop slices in as clips but you can drop slices on to the composition/layer/group or clip effect window. It will then make a slice transform effect. You can also drag that one in (slice transform effect) on the place you want to have it and then fill it up with slices. hope this helps... have fun

And you have to turn on slices in the view menu

You can delete. I loaded my layout from avenue and it wouldn't add. I went to the default layout in arena and it added.
