Spout with Touchdesigner

I keep trying to route touchdesigner into resolume, the source will show up in resolume and when I drop it into the grid it is in color (as opposed to grayed out when touchdesigner is closed) yet when I play the clip it will only display a black screen. Is there something pretty basic I’m missing? It doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the aspect ratio.
