Invisible/Inactive Capture Devices (SOURCES Browser panel)

Hey

I cannot drop (load) any of the Capture Devices into decks..
Even FaceTime HD Camera...
I drag them on the empty clip and when I drop, there is an empty clip.
If I drop at the end of the Column, it adds a new Column, but still, the clip is empty.

I am using ARENA 7.14.2. rev22221,
have updated to the recent version 7.18.2 rev29742
and still the same.

Tried in a new document/composition, no success...

I get the FaceTime HD signal/source in the QuickTime app,
so I guess there must be some Arena problem with the Video Sources....

All the other Sources categories can be dropped normally.
Also NDI Servers.
Just the CAPTURE DEVICES are "blocked"...

keep forgetting about "the master" Apple security

about the Apple security:
is there any solutions for the Orange dot already?
does macOS Sonoma offers a switch?
