Hi.
Does anyone have experience with this product? We need a solution for a 5+1 setup and are looking for a cost-effective Datapath alternative.

Re: Gofunco Prophecy 4K 2x2 Video Wall Processor
What does your output setup (end point devices) look like? Could you draw a small diagram in paint? Thanks

Thank you Arvol.
There are 5x 1080p projectors in a row, to create a 9600x1080 screen. Sync is a must.

That 5th output is the issue. Cheapest solution I've used would be to have a Quadro card and a FX4 or AJA HA5-4K. Grab the SDI FX4 if your PJ's have 3G SDI inputs. You'll need to add delay to the single output that isn't going to the splitterbox worst case, best case you don't need to.
If you can grab (2) FX$'s you can sync those boxes, but that's a lot of wasted $$ for only a single output one the second FX4.

This could be a solution. Sync the signals with a Mini Converter Sync Generator and 5 Mini Converter UpDown- Cross HD boxes.

Do you think A5000 is powerfull enough for this task?

To be honest, I haven't, but in theory that should work, that's what they're made for. But maybe Arvol has some experience with this, and can shed some light on it...

A5000 should be fine since you're just needing (5) 3G signals.
The issue with Gaming GPU's are that each output port has it's own clock. think of it as garbage in, garbage out.
There's no external hardware like a sync generator that can fix the output coming out of a gaming GPU, so external converters connected to a clock reference doesn't matter. The output of that converter will be in sync with other converters, BUT, the input to the converters will be off and that's the same thing as having no sync generator at all.
Now if you are coming out of a Quadro GPU, then yes, having converters connected to a sync generator will work, but the signal going into the converters also need to be in sync.

Thank you Arvol.
When using 2x Quadro cards, can I use up to 3 outs from the the main card for projectors in sync? and the other 4 for independent stuff?
