Hello;
I'll start this off by saying I come from a different kind of media server (think MBox, Hippo, etc) where we have control of loading a video clip onto a layer via DMX. We're going with Resolume for a project and while I can see several ways of going around this need I was wondering if that's a possibility with DMX?
What I see now is having one column per song and triggering clips and crossfade layer intensity with DMX, or having one layer per song and...somehow crossfading between clips if I have to. The caveat to this is some of these songs will have a ton of content and it will make this a gigantic Resolume project.
I can also edit a compilation for each song but that cuts down on flexibility while programming quite a bit!
Anyone have any ideas on the best way forward on this?
Thanks all
[edit] I see I could also use a different deck per song. I'm assuming this is probably the easiest way to manage this?
Change clip with DMX
Re: Change clip with DMX
Separate decks per song would be recommended,
