DXV3 Clips not playing

Post by Zoom31 »

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to use Alley DXV3 conversion but each time i'm converting a clip to DVX HQ with alpha then the clip is not loading, like I can add it to my deck but when launching it, it is like it is paused.
More strangely when trying to run one of these DXV3 clips it makes also the clips in mp4 not running anymore for the next 5 minutes.
I'm running Arena 7.15 on MacOS, CPU is at 50% and RAM/vRAM at 75% max
Has anyone encountered this bug?

Many thanks,
Gautier

Are the clips on external hard drive?

When you play it in Alley the run smoothly?

No they are on my computer and they run smoothly on Alley.
Turns out it is related to timeline because when I'm setting the clip to BPM sync it's working...

We're looking into an issue where trying to open many mp4 files on Monterey and later, the OS file readers slow down a lot, to the point where Resolume can appear frozen.
I'd recommend removing the mp4 files from the composition, and convert those to DXV
