I've seen this question asked before - just wanting a better answer... Using a GeForce 4 with latest nvidia drivers: how can I set the screen resolution on the main display and have the second monitor (that is going out to the projector) be 800x600? Since the only way to get the second monitor to turn on is to use the nView, and then extend the display onto that monitor, it then has the same resolution as the first monitor.
The FAQ for resolume says that the primary display should be 1024, and the second monitor should be 800. ??
How do I do that?
I can make that work on the Matrox card, but the frame rates are much slower than the nvidia.
Thanks!!!

hi,
I think it works with Win98, win2000 and xp are not supported very well by the nvidia driver than the matrox one is. the matrox card uses two display drivers so you set up each monitor independently.
right, the frame rate is higher - but the tv out quality of all nvidia cards is crap right now. the radeon is much better but has the same dual-screen problems.
has anybody tested a matrox parhelia yet? i'd like to know how this ones does the resolume job...
