Hello, I'got my first MIDI controller - a bcr2000 - and I'm trying to configure it. It's quite cool and seems to be really flexible for any kind of configuration, BUT it is not simple to find the right set up for Resolume.
Has anyone any suggestion for the "best" and more effective cofiguration with resolume?
Thank you for your help!
Laptop, Windows XP
P4 3,2MHz, 800MHz bus, 512MB ram
ATI mobility radeon 9700 with 64MB
Behringer BCR2000
What i\'d do...
...is make it up as you go along. Just set up the controller with any old config then change the preferences in resolume as this is a bit easier than the edit method on the behringer. Just keep playing and you'll start to want buttons/controllers for things as you go along. It's all down to personal choice which is why these new controllers are so lovely.
Ahh, when I think back to the days of hexidecimal wrestling with my ol' Keyphax Phatboy!

How you configure it depends very much upon how you want to work.
FYI - I configure my BCR2000 as follows:-
top row of dials - press to activate layer (1 / 2 / 3)
turn for speed of layer
other top row dials configured for various effects and opacity (like LUMA on/off)
rows of buttons (midi notes) correspond to channels within a deck (I only use 16 channels per deck, =16 notes / buttons)
columns of dials (controller functions only)
column 1 - speed - column 2 - opacity
row 3 - layer 3
row 2 - layer 2
row 1 - layer 1

I wonder if resolume works with the AUTO-MOTOR FADERs of
