best graphics card

Hi All
still on the lookout for the best graphics card - currently using a matrox g450eTV - works superbly - i'm currently using 320x240 avi's and flash movies
I'd like to start using clips that are 640x480 - but the g450 wont handle frame rates at that size.
Anyone out there using higher res clips and getting good frame rates? - if so, what graphics boards/OS's are you running, and do you use scan converters or video out on them?

i guess the Radeon 8500 is best for now .. it has better dual monitor support then the geforces ... i still haven't heard from anyone who has tested the Matrox Parhelia!
