Video Splitter signal loss??

Post by Ruud »

Hey All!

@ club Monza Utrecht i have a problem with video splitter/amp

the configuration is as follows:

laptop:-svideo-->composite-->video-hub (splitter)
---> 1 big screen ( powerful long distance beamer)
---> 2 regular screens ( small one's left & right )

it works perfect ...

but the problem is, when i use another laptop
strange enough, the 2 regular screens turn out to be B/W black&white... while the big screen still gives full colour!

why?

is this a lack of a strong signal, it uses a older model of the ati radeon series, M6

Can someone help me with this problem, I would really be happy to have 3 full colour screens for tonight.

Cheers! VJ STOUDT

Check your card is not outputting an NTSC signal which can cause B/W output. If that's the case the big beamer is probably NTSC compatible.
