Improved VU Meter?

I've been using this cheap windows store app as a VU meter for master output during shows to set audio levels precisely, works pretty well.
Why not integrate a similar idea into Resolume?

Yes there are "volume activity bars" per layer etc but something more accurate or easier to read with a scale seems like it would just be a case of a UI change?
If there were an option for a master and preview VU window, just like for preview screens, that would be the best, you could run a video in preview, set it's audio level and run it live first time, all set & ready to go
