Converting Video for YouTube.

Post by Syafka »

Hello all, I've got a few videos (.MOV) that I want to upload to YouTube but after converting them with Alley they are around 6GB in size! They are tracks that are only 6 mins long each. Looking at the conversation options in Alley, which option would be optimum for YT? Is H264 high quality a good option?

I don't think Youtube will accept DXV, so try the h264 options, and see which one works best for your footage.
Software developer, Sound Engineer,
Control Your show with ”Enter” - multiple Resolume servers at once - SMPTE/MTC column launch

Cheers will give it a shot.

The quality appears to be OK so all good.
