Frame Rate Drops unless Resolume has focus

Is there anyway around this? My machine certainly has enough power to run both Resolume and Touch Designer simultaneously, i'm sending NDI from TD into Res. However, whenever i click on TD causing Resolume to lose focus my frame rates in Resolume drop by upwards of 50%. They return to normal once i click back on Resolume.

I've tried adjusting the Nvidia control panel settings, Windows Power Plan, everything i can find basically that might have an influence on Frame Rates in background apps. Any help or guidance would be GREATLY appreciated.

It's an OS thing, the nvidia always high perfomance setting usually helps.
When you switch between the apps, try leaving Resolume visible behind TD.
