DV Record via Firewire?

iam trying to get my dvcamorder attached via firewire to record resolume output, cause when i hit record it drops most of the frames, or do i have to record via svideo ?
please tell me how to do this

Resolume doesn't output via firewire, you'll have to connect via svhs or composite.

I record resolume output signal via s-video cable onto dv camera, then record on my HD what's on the mini dv tape via firewire in adobe premiere, works fine.

i have a problem vith flickers on live camera thro the resolume.....haow to fiks anz plug??
