MIDI Feedback Stops Working

Hi, I use an APC Mini controller to work my layers and clips, and a SubZero MiniController for effects.

I'm very active on the APC, using it to move between clips, blank layers, restart clips in time to the music, all done live with bands. I can guarantee that at least twice a day in an 8 hour run, usually more, the APC will stop giving me visual feedback with the state of the clips. This makes my job doubly difficult when this happens as I can't immediately judge the relationship of clips on the APC to those on the screen. I frequently use the active clip colour to guide me to what I want to display next.

Last time this happened it was a one band show and locked up about 45 mins into the performance. I unplugged the APC and plugged it back in between songs and Resolume lost the plot, went into a pale shade, became unresponsive and had a spinning cursor of doom for about a minute, then came out if it. But now I had no lights on my APC at all. I dimmed the output and selected each clip in turn which brought them back to life on the APC as selected them.

Any help to resolve this continuous problem would be gratefully received.

Are there other devices on the USB bus you use for the controllers?

I have the SubZero MiniController, generally I run both these off the same USB port via a small hub on the desktop. But it was doing this before I started using the SubZero.

Same thing happened yesterday in a 12 hour run, it stopped responding twice. But worse than that Resolume was getting really slow, not clearing clip properties when replaced - speed and clip length were rubbish, and wouldn't exit properly. I couldn't restart it as although the GUI had disappeared when closed, it was still running and I couldn't terminate it in Task Manager. I had to reboot. This happened twice which is pretty hard to deal with when running a live event.

I also have a Behringer UMC202HD that I use for audio input and FFT. This is always connected to a different USB 3.0 port. One of the reboots yesterday was because the audio FFT wasn't working. I could select the device as an audio input, and as an FFT input but no signal was shown on the FFT meter. OK after a reboot which was needed because Resolume did not exit properly and could not be terminated.

I really need to find a way of getting some post-gig error reports to you guys as every gig I do seems to have this kind of problem. I'm generally not connected to the Internet while performing.
