Artnet led setup

Post by torkal »

Hello, I'm a new member and completely new to both Resolume and Artnet in general.
I need to control several led strip with a H807SA controler and Resolume.

Image

Setup :
- 8 x H807SA
- 64 led strips WS2811 (90 pixels per strip)
- 1 controler for 8 led strips

Here star representation of 8 led strips. So I have this figure 8 times. These stars are separated by several meters, which is why I use 8 H807SA controllers.

I first ran a test connecting two controllers together (same IP) using the synchronized IN-OUT port.
Here is a screenshot of the Fixture Editor configuration for these 8 led strips:

Here's a screenshot of the output configuration. I created a Lumiverse per led strip. It works fine except that I'm going to have a problem for the next step because I'm limited to 16 Lumniverse and I need to repeat this setup 8 times. So I tried to create 1 Lumiverse for 8 led strips (1 star), but it doesn't work, only the first led strip works correctly, the next one flashes randomly. Can you help me make a correct and reliable setup? Thank you.

Here is a screenshot of the Fixture Editor configuration for these 8 led strips:
Fixtures can be reused from the library.
If your pixel strips are the same color layout and pixel count, you can do with only one Fixture type.
You can use it multiple times in the advanced output.
So I tried to create 1 Lumiverse for 8 led strips (1 star), but it doesn't work, only the first led strip works correctly, the next one flashes randomly.
How are the stips layed out in your pixel controler?

Strips are not necessarily the same color.
One strip by port on pixel controler (8 port)

The colors sent to fixtures is determined in the advanced output, if your fixtures are the same pixel count and channel layout, you can use one fixture template.

With the layout, I mean the fixture pixel vs dmx channel assignments.
Do you have fixtures spanning universes?

Do you want the 8 controlers display the same colors?

I use 8 universes per tree, one universe per strip.
I don't want the controllers display the same colors.

look what I found
phpBB [video]

You could simply duplicate the first Lumiverse you have set up, and then set the IP of the next controller as destination.

Resolume Arena is compatible with H807SA led controller?
I have some random output flashes/glitches.
If i output signal with internal sd card everything is ok no random flashes/glitches.

Resolume Arena is compatible with the H807SA LED controller via Art-Net.
