low fps

Post by Nasr96 »

hello,
been using resolume for a while now
running a 1.8 LED WALL nad facing low fps
i have server with:
intel xeon gold 6234
64 gb ram
rtx a5000
i am using the 4 outputs for my display screen and i have a vga output to my monitor
3 of the outputs are set as mosaic 3x(3072x1536) total of 9216x1536
1 is set to 2816x3072 but in the advanced output i have it running as 5632x1536
what i am facing is that my cpu is at 10% ram 21% vram 10% fps switching between 25 and 35 when is the frame rate to 60 and 28,29 when the frame rate is 30
cpu is at 45% ram 26% gpu 16% when i monitor from the task manager
my question is that my hardware is really good and capable why i cant have higher fps noting that i converted everything through alley and the videos arent really that big and the frame rate is also modarate not big

Did you set the frame rate of the composition to a custom value or is it still at auto?

Also keep in mind that in video, more fps is not necessarily better (as many gamers would think!).
For example: the movies you watch in the cinema are all 24fps.

Sounds like you have your GUI monitor to the onboard GPU, then usually this GPU is doing all the work, can you try if you see better performance if you connect your monitor to one of the outputs of the A5000?
