Hello
We have an install, and we're projecting using 2x projectors with Geo correction and lens shift.
The wall we are projecting onto isn't straight. It has 2x angles, pretty minor, but enough to make a noticeable distortion. The there's 1 angle roughly in the middle of each projectors range.
We've used geometry correction to fit the projection space, then amended output on Resolume to try fit everything in best as we can.
It seems like I'm in a constant push/pull battle between geo correction and output correction. Is it best to use one, or the other, or should I keep going with the push/pull, making tiny adjustments until right?

In your advance output. If you have two screens and both screens have one slice. I would give both screens two slices, one for each face of the wall it's projecting on. Then you get eight points that you can edit to match up your wall. see picts.
I hope this helps you out.

Thanks for this. That's actually a great idea. I'll work on that during downtime.tijnisfijn wrote: Wed Oct 23, 2024 11:21 In your advance output. Would you advise doing geometry correction with the projectors, or not bothering and just aligning all in Resolume?
Re: Multi Projection on a non-flat surface
The clean solution is do do most of the work inside the projectors (when they are capable of doing)
When you i.e. use some new panasonic machines with geomanager you should use this first.
