Hi all !
I've got the weird registration problem as I came back from holidays. My resolume doesn't connect to internet though everything else works fine, so I'm stuck and cannot remove the registration through the software.
I run resolume on a 2015 Macbook pro with OS X 10.9.5, My firewall is off, I was handed a legit license and installed the software from the website (running resolume 6.1.5)
I can still reach the website using Google chrome, but not with safari.
I tried to ping the website and it doesn't seem to go through (see attached picture)
Anyone experienced something similar and resolved it ?
I have gigs coming up in a couple weeks, thanks for any useful tips !

that looks good.
weird that one browser works and another does not,
Are you using proxies for internet connection?
Third party virus scanner or firewalls?

I am not using proxies nor having a firewall or third party virus scanner. I only use this MacBook for VJing

Re: Resolume fails to connect to internet for registration checking
I finally figured it out!
The problem as mentioned was that Safari couldn't access the Resolume website, therefore the check within Resolume Arena 6 couldn't be done.
After trying to reset and clean everything internet-related, I understood that the latest build/version of the Resolume website is simply not compatible with OS X 10.9.5 running on Maverick.
As the MacBook itself cannot recognize further updates after Maverick, you need to download it from the Apple website using a different link as Safari cannot connect to the latest version of the Apple website either.
Here is the link: http://maclinks.publicvm.com
Then you need to go to the next OS X, and gradually install them to get to the newest if you want the latest OS, otherwise Resolume website runs fine already on High Sierra.
After installing, I rebooted Resolume and it worked fine!

Re: Resolume fails to connect to internet for registration checking
I just spent a week with a resolume logo on my exhibition exactly because of it!
I just couldn’t understand how I was able to access the computer remotely and resolume could not verify…
I’m installing a new OSx now, hopes my mac mini won’t die.
Thanks for the help

Resolume can show the watermark also if you're running a newer release than what your license is eligible to run.
You can check the eligibility in your shop account, where you can also download the latest version for your license.
This license for example will show the watermark with 7.19 and later:

Re: Resolume fails to connect to internet for registration checking
In my case I was using an old version of computer and arena.
In the website it was registered, I could see the name of my Mac mini.
But the machine had Yosemite, and I really couldn't understand why just resolume website was not available on safari, and the app couldn't authenticate...
So I upgraded my OS system and now it works perfectly <3
