How do you purge closed decks?

Post by brodie »

I didn't understand the difference between 'closing' and 'removing' a deck so now I have a bunch of closed decks in a project. How can I 'remove' them from the composition at this point?

Closing decks keeps them in the composition, so you they can be out of your way, but you can open them up from the compositions panel.
If you'd like to remove these decks, load the composition, double click them in the compositions panel, and then you can right click-Remove them.

Can we get a feature for this? Writing the xml a bunch of individual times with big comps is tedious. Maybe it would be more efficient to have a 'remove closed decks' option under the 'deck' menu that does them all at once. Please and thank you.
