Auto Pilot - setting beat via OSC

How do I change the beat timing in OSC in the new Auto Pilot feature (very cool!). For instance, say I wanted to go from every 4th beat to every 2nd beat? It wants a float value between 0 and 1. Do I need to do some math based on the BPM to work out the exact value? If so how do I calculate it?

Float would set the beats in the whole range,
Integer should work to set an exact value like 4 beats
