The new show hide speed control.

Is it possible to only have this hide the controls on the left side and not in the group/layer properties view?

Why should it be hidden in the properties? I think most of us wanted the control gone in the left side so scrolling the mouse wheel stopped changing it, but we still want to make adjustments as needed if we specifically want to.

But now you have to turn it back on to get it back in the property window.

But isn't this what is happening? At least for me it does work like you are requesting it...

Unchecking "Show Clip Speed Sliders on Layers" disables all speed sliders from the layer transport control section, also for groups and composition.

In the composition-, group- and clip-panel I can still see my speed sliders as always.

The Layer panel never had a a speed-slider, as the speed in the layer transport control section is always the speed of the currently playing clip.
