Just had a look online and it seems as though NotePad runs on Windows. I am using a Mac.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Re: Changing Location of a Composition's clips
Any expected update for this in a future release? I have a file on one computer and need to load it to 8+ different machines with Resolume demo running for a workshop I am holding. A search and locate would be well handy . .

As someone who is a bit messy with my files the ability to relink media would be a definite feature request. It would be useful when making changes to content, and its a function i find really handy in fcp and after affects when editing. The other time I could see this been really useful is if your show hd crashed and you had to play off your back up it could be a real show saver.
Just my two cents
cheers

We're working on 'collect & gather' and 'find & replace', but since it's quite a incisive feature, it probably won't appear in the R3 series.

I would appreciate this feature. Please make it so.
Edit:
I just took the time to edit the paths in Notepad. It worked, but there has got to be a better way.

With OSX its easy to move media from one drive to another if you clone the drive, and keep all the media in the same folder structure.
You can share a composition between computer with the same external drive on OSX with windows this is different since all drives have unique letters, where OSX just looks at drive names. I have created compositions on my tower, and the loaded them on my MBP that has the same external drive plugged in.
I'd like some sort of media manager too. I like to reorganized my growing library of clips, and don't want to re-import and all my clips into a new comp just because I change the folder structure. Also it would be nice to be able to move from OSX to PC and use the same composition files and drive. So no matter what computer you are using your clips will load up. Maybe some sort of relative file structure, where comps are placed in folders with the media, instead of a absolute file structure that is OS specific.
