scaling and adjusting internally created masks

Post by wickedthoughtzzz »

I saw the recent threads in regards to .png or image masks, but if I create a mask (or the inverse of a mask) in Resolume and then want to scale that mask (it has complex geometry with 30 or points), or simply shift the mask as a whole without changing any proportions or having to move each point independently, is there an easy way to move this mask around? Thanks in advance!!!

Switching between the Edit Points and Transform tabs will allow you to scale, move and rotate a slice, crop or mask.

I see this subject has been covered in multiple threads (this being the most recent).. but I'm still having a problem with scaling ONLY the mask (.png) on a layer. Basically i just want the mask to reveal the layer/clips behind it. Tried moving the mask and transforms around and even the frparamaters, but all I can get is 1. the mask and clip scale together or 2. the clip scales independent of the mask.

The main goal is to have the scale of only the mask controlled by a slider through touchOSC.
