Hi all,
How do I go about only producing a visual show? Or must you have an audio for Resolume to work?
If the latter whats the best way to port in what the DJ is doing to my laptop and into Resolume?
Ideally I would like to just through up images and play with the effects while the DJ does there thing.
Thanks!!
Chris
Producing only visuals?
Re: Producing only visuals?
Chris,
Technically speaking, you don´t need to worry about anything concerning what the DJ uses and how he/she's working. You can just turn your computer on, start Resolume and begin to VJ your visual content.
Now, it would be nice to pay attention to the music style and to the beat the DJ is running the party and try to follow with your visual content and speed the best you can.
The best Pro VJ´s (not me ; )) certainly sync their computers with the DJ bpm, so their visual is mostly sync with the audio all the time.
good luck
Paulo

Thanks Paulo,
I very much want to make a nice match, vision+audio but guessed for now I will try to do my self.
As it will no doubt require more/better kit to get the DJ to through my laptop.
Making a little progress thanks to your tips!

you'll find over time this will happen. When you do it for a while or you know the music your vjing to you'll be beat perfect and flow naturally. Pre programmed show's are amazing but vjing on the fly can be something you could never plan and it can be just as special. A couple of beers can helpI very much want to make a nice match

...and when beer start stops helping you....I can prefer one two or tree cups of rum or vodka

... and when the rum or vodka wears off... go back to the beer....
