Multiplying Video Outputs on the Macbook Pro Side

Just read this comment from "goto10" in another thread.

.....we'd recommend an Ati Eyefinity with six outputs. Or an NVidia with 3 outputs and two Dualheads.

I believe that´s an option for desktops only.
Placing Matrox´s DH2G and TH2G aside, is there any other hardware solution to achieve more than one physical video output in a MacBookPro?
