Resolume cuts wifi connection of Ralink adapter

Hello,
i have a MacBook Pro, i use the internal wifi adapter to connect to Internet using a public network, while i want to use a second external adapter by Ralink to create a private nework for OSC and reading files from a WiFi NAS storage. Both connections set up correctly, i manage to read the file shares and so on, but as soon as i start Resolume Arena the connection in the external adapter drops. As soon as i close Resolume everything works fine again. Any idea?
