Hi there,
after the two shows in Russia and the usual stuttering projections
I really can't wait to see the new resolume 5 version which should fix
this issue forever. Please can you give us any timeline for it?
BTW If you need any beta tester please consider me in!

We still at 4.1 something.

How about more freebie updates at 4.2 and then 4.5 then also at 4.7 or so.

I like 4 with more effects.

I think to fix the issue I'm talking about the whole core of Resolume needs to be rewritten
differently I can't see any reason Resolume engineers have not yet fixed it.
I reported it almost 3 years ago but I've seen a lot of people reported it before me.
If Resolume want to be a really professional vj software it must be reliable and the playback must be really smooth without any minimum stuttering.
No new effect can help it.

I'm very sorry, but the only answer we will ever be able to give is "Resolume 5 will be available when it becomes available". We cannot commit to release dates, because we do not want to create premature expectations.

If you have projects relying on a feature or fix which is slated to be in Resolume 5, our advise is to seek another solution. It could take a long while before Res 5 sees the light of day, and we don't want your projects to suffer over this.

There are several 4.x updates still planned.

I don't know how long it could take for a fix but leaving such a problem for almost 2 years makes me think no fix is expected for Resolume 4.....
Please Joris say I'm wrong and that you are planning to fix the stuttering issue for Resolume 4.
Than I don't really care about Resolume 5!!! It can take even 20 years and I'll be fine with Resolume 4.

If youre having stuttering issues I feel bad for you son, but codec issues is probably your number one.

A decent computer and DXV's will probably solve your issue
