Multiple video cards on the same machine

Post by ItayGal »

Hi,
I bought a new machine which i intend to use in a fixed installation.
the installation requires 4 outputs so i put 1 - GTX660 and 1 - GTX630 on my machine.
the idea was to use the GTX660 as the output card and the 630 for the GUI.
the thing is that when i connect a monitor to the GTX630 the resolume (Arena) fps drops significantly (probably because the cards trying to match refresh rates or something like that).

does anyone has experience with multiple graphics card and resolume?
if i will use the same model will it get better?

As a rule you should put the Resolume GUI onto your best graphics card. This is because Resolume has been set up so the card that the GUI is on does all the work.
