Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has experience using the Korg NanoKontrol2 with Resolume, specifically getting MIDI feedback from Resolume back to the controller.
I want to use the buttons on the Nano as effects on/off toggles, where the buttons are lit/dark corresponding with their status in the Resolume UI. When I only use the controller everything works OK, but if I toggle the effect on/off in the Resolume UI with the mouse, the controller doesn't update accordingly.
I've already played around with every combination of note vs. controller, toggle vs. momentary, and piano vs. normal behavior that I can think of, both in the Korg Kontrol Editor software and in the Resolume MIDI settings.

MIDI LED feedback with NanoKontrol2
Re: MIDI LED feedback with NanoKontrol2
Apparently you can use midi feedback on the mk2 only, but it has to be enabled in the editor. According to this anyway: http://forum.djtechtools.com/showthread.php?t=4422, comment #8 is where you need to be.
Re: MIDI LED feedback with NanoKontrol2
Bingo! That was it. It was right in front of my nose, yet I missed it because it never occurred to me that MIDI feedback is a) something that you would want to turn off, and b) disabled by default.
Anyway, I found the setting in the Korg Kontrol Editor, switched it, and now everything is working fine. Thanks!
