Arena wont launch on new OS X profile

I created a new user profile specifically for Resolume. When I tried launching 4.1.7 the finder windows I had open went out of focus and the Arena icon bounced as if it was opening but nothing happened after that. I installed 4.1.8 and had the same results. As expected with a new profile there are no preference folders or logs to check. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to check next?

Unfortunately I don't think there are any workarounds. It should still work on your original user account though.
