Getting clips to launch at the same time

Hello,

This might be a bit of a noob question, but I've had a look in the manual, and I don't think I'm getting it.

I want to set up some sound reactive clips on different layers, so that the opacity is linked to the different ranges detected by the external mike. My first layer is linked to the bass, the second to the midrange and the third to the treble.

To make this work as I want, I need the three clips in synch with each other, so I want it so when I launch a clip in the bass layer, the corresponding clips in the midrange and treble layer trigger automatically.

Is this do-able? Thanks in advance

Place all clips on their respective layers but at the same column.
Click on the column tab.
That´s it.
