Hey guys,
so last night while doing a show a guy walked up to me and started talking to me about Resolume and VJ software. He then started talking about a software/plugin that is a 3D generator (at least thats what it sounded like he said) and called it World. I have tried searching the web for this with no luck. If anyone knows what he might have been referring to I would really like to know.
Thanks
World plugin?
Re: World plugin?
That looks right. Figures the one spelling I didn't think about.
Thanks much.

Yep, it's Whorld, and it's a real thing. The original software is a Windows app, but a feature-limited version of the code was ported to FFGL by my friend Dewb, so he could use it with Res on OSX.
We use an internal build of it at shows all the time, and it works a charm. You can see it in action here, running in Res: https://vimeo.com/82147880
It never really got to the point of a proper public release - the current version is only for OSX. Windows support was planned but never completed.
You can check out the source on the GitHub repo:

I have the .bundle file as well - I'll ask Dewb if it's OK to post it here.
cheers,
j

Re: World plugin?
You can run Whorld or UltraWhorld in vvvv, spout/syphon that into Resolume, map the 5 million paramters to your MIDI controller, enjoy.
