Who here is still rocking v2.41?
Who here is still rocking v2.41?
I must say I have no interest in the audio portion of Avenue and the like, even though it's flaky, I still love v2.41. Anyone else feel the same way? If not, what is better about avenue?
Re: Who here is still rocking v2.41?
The last time I really used 2.41 for a show was somewhere in 2011. I have to admit it was on a laptop which was being captured by a server running Arena.
It worked fine enough for triggering content. What I really missed was being able to preview clips.
I don't use audio that much either, but these days I couldn't run a show not having 8 layers with my trusty effect stack on every layer and being able to position content down to the pixel.
It all depends on what you're used to I guess. There was a guy running 2.41 and a ReAct at AV Playground in Austria last year, and he was killing it. His content was a bit 90s, but his mixing blew every other VJ there out of the water.

2.41 is amazing if you are doing high energy mixes
