Capturing an URL

Post by pfelberg »

Any chance Arena would be capable of capturing an URL as an input soon?

I just downloaded the new beta of iWall3.7 - text to screen program which is capable to display all social media content to the screens. It´s display engine was upgraded form flash to HTML5, which generates an output based on a local computer URL/IP address.

No other solution as virtual web cams or even spout worked so far.

Thanks!

Manycam as many other virtual webcam applications do not suit for me.
Reason: they cannot be locked to an application, meaning they will get all layered windows over the selected area. And I wish Arena to occupy the entire desktop area.

Humm. That Youtube plugin may be a solution. Gonna try it.

tks

Just a small note: ManyCam now can set up a YT url as a webcam. I tried it and it works although it was a bit choppy for me. I was using a free version which limits the image to 4:3. So, when ManyCam has a URL it doesn't require a browser window to be open.
