RND transitions - I made a script that lets you select which

Post by alex_d »

Hi guys, I asked about this a couple of days ago and apparently others have asked about this too. I wondered if it was possible to select the transitions for RND mode.

Been catching up on this wonderful piece of software a lot these last few days and am starting to figure out just how far I can go to control Resolume with OSC. Mind = blown.

I'm a Processing afficionado so I decided to solve it that way. It runs on windows & OSX and the script is extremely simple to adjust. No need for programming knowledge. You can make a list of transitions, a list of the layers and whether they all have to be the same random trans.

I've written up instructions on how to do it here:

Hope it helps!

No file exists when click on 'here' on your instructions on your site.

Perhaps post the script here?

Many thanks - works a treat and quite instructive for a start to more interesting controller experiments.

You're welcome! I've been learning from and using other people's scripts/tools for years now so it was about time I started contributing :)

I have some ideas in store for Resolume, will be interesting to see where it leads me.
