Edge blending soft for Mapping Game

Post by kroox23 »

Hi,

Im currently workin on my new project - interactive mapping (game) where I will need to use edge blending option cuz of 2 projectors. I dont really know Resolume, but there is a hope it can fix my problem. I dont want to play any video files, but open one .exe file for example (Unity build) on my model that Im mapping, so people can play the game (fullscreen). Is there any chance Resolume can help with it?

Normally I would use some other software, but most of it is VERY expensive and there is no student licenses or sth (my project is non-commercial).

Your best option would be to run two computers.
The first runs your game. The second, Arena.
You capture your game output into the second computer running Arena.
Adjust Arena output using two projectors, edge blend, whatever.

Details... there are several options. Just search the forums.

You could also output HDMI to a capture card on the same computer (ie. blackmagic design mini recorder) and use that Source in Resolume. Ideally, you would use a different GPU for the game than Resolume.
