Hello everyone,
I am currently working on my college final year project.
I am using Res to projection map onto a spandex screen & a cylinder that is also covered in spandex.
My buddy has built an animated Blazar and Pulse (X-ray) using real time data within Unreal Engine 4.
I have been searching the web and can't find any info. I was wondering if anyone knows a way to stream my UE4 through Res?
I have bend sensors attached to the screen and I want it to trigger different effects from EU4 when the screen is pressed.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.
Don

Can you use two machines? One with unreal the other with resolume?

The easiest is buying a blackmagic capture card and simply having a Unreal computer and a Resolume computer. If you have a tower its 100 bucks for a deck link mini recorder(PC HDMI Source, mac mini display doesn't always do YUV color.)
Are you all laptops, towers, Macs? Can you explain what you have at your disposal and budget?

The machines we have available to us are 2013 i5 imacs, thunderbolt outputs, is there a way of pumping out of them and capturing on another Imac with resolume?
We are students and are budget is fairly tight.

Two options, if your running unreal in OSX you can use a syphon screen capture and broadcast that over a network cable with syphon TCP/IP. Which is free but may be a tad buggy.Don Carlos wrote:The machines we have available to us are 2013 i5 imacs, thunderbolt outputs, is there a way of pumping out of them and capturing on another Imac with resolume?

Or spending 150 and using this to capture the output from hdmi from any OS. Altho you need a proper thunderbolt to hdmi cable, not mini display because these boxes only capture YUV colorspace.
