Will not load more than 12 Decks....

Post by VJ555 »

Hi Edwin, me again! Used the trial version of 2.0 final at a gig last nite, in teh main went really well. One BIG problem. I play as part of an AV electronic band and consequnetly have decks built for each track ( most have two decks ). When I load up, by double clicking teh deck category teh first time, everything loads fine. What I though I would then do is clear each deck as we complete that track, then forward load new tracks/decks. by teh time I got to loading the 12 deck, nothing happened! It would not let me load any more. In teh middle of our set I had to shut Resolume down and start again from deck 12. I seem to remember somebody else saying this but I couldn't find it.... Any suggestions?

Work Around found

If you group your decks into categories, only include eight decks in each category, then by double clicking the title of the category to load the decks, i've so far managed to get up to 32 decks loaded without having to re start resolume.

Woohoo, a local! I guess we should chat elsewhere so as not to clog this topic - drop us an email c/- our website :) We were at Wowsville for NYE, prefer retro to funk.

Thanks for the workaround with the decks, that will really help - although even 32 decks really isn't enough, so hopefully deck-loading problem in 2.0 final gets a real fix soon...

Our basic specs for our Resolume computer, FYI:

P4 3GHz ITC lappie with Radeon 9600 ATI, 1 Gig RAM running XP.

we did a gig last night and had to restart resolume twice in a 5 houre set.

we ended up haveing to restart at a crical point in the set very frustrating :(
even with dvd backup.

all i can say as a partial solution is to make sure you've got all your content orgenised and a dvd/vhs back up to fade to :)
