Slices not scaled to display sizes

Post by eyesaregood »

Hello everyone,

Today I was setting up a 4 output set up with 4 Layers set to discreet outputs using the Advanced Output options. I was easily able to accomplish this, however every screen had a black section on the right side of the screen. I looked at each slice and every slice was sized such that it was not the full size of the screen. This was the case for each slice. I could use the output transform option, but this stretched the image.

I loaded the same content onto my laptop and there was no issue with the slices fitting in the screen completely...please help me understand what I am missing here...

Thanks in advance

So lets say you Content is 16/9 Aspect ratio & your screen (output) ist 16/9 as well.

Your Composition should be 16/9 as well !

Then you got your clip inside a layer.
- Rightclick and Fit clip to Composition (maybe click if a few times for different kind of fittings)

And you can see this clip in the Input Section of your advanced output.
- Be sure here that the Slice cover all of your clip.

Now you should see this Slice in your output as well
- Be sure your slice cover everything of your output screen as well.

It should now play as aspectet and without any transformation / Streetching of your content.

When its not working explain were you got the Problem at first.
