Quartz composition with line patch does not render line

If you create a quartz composition with the stock "Line" patch, the line appears in the quartz composer viewer. But if you import the composition into Resolume, you don't see a line.

A quick Google search reveals that this is a long standing bug with Quartz Composer (I'd post a link to an example URL, but the forum software isn't letting me...).

I'm having trouble finding a working alternative line patch. I downloaded the Kineme GL Tools patches, but I'm seeing the exact same problem with the GL Line patch on OS X 10.10; the line appears in QC, but not in Resolume.

Does anyone know of a working alternative? It seems totally ridiculous to me that I can't even draw a line with Quartz Composer + Resolume (although I realize it's not Resolume's fault).

Interestingly, the Kineme GL Line patch does work when I import a composition into VDMX, suggesting there might be a Resolume bug.

There is another line renderer plugin floating around somewhere....
