Hi,
Want to know more about Resolution settings and terminology.
I realise this thread is a bit old, but I'll start here and post a new one if needs be.
Can anyone direct me please to resources of info that explain various resolution terms in relation to content creation(i.e. stills, video etc), projection (i.e. output) and so on?
I'd like to clarify to myself various terms I've come across whilst working, but not sure I'm completely clear on how they relate to each other.
Thanks,
GuyKo.

Thanks for that Sense; but unless you have a special edition manual to mine
, I have looked for resolution definitions there and didn't find any.
I mean there are some notes on setting Resolution, but those are specific to Resolume; I couldn't see what I'm looking for, which is broader definitions and clarifications.

thanx for the info about viewing fps!Originally posted by Sense
We use 400x300 processing, output 640x480 (manual) not in the preselect possible in windows XP. You gain some frames and output looks great. With CTRL-ALT-I (Resolume processing information *don't forget turning it off, going live*) You can see the FPS.

btw, what do you mean by "manual" output "not in the preselect..."?
where does one set manual and why would one want to do this over preselect?
what is the benefit?
thanx, juLiE
